After the faliure revolt of 1831 and 1848 the whole responsibility of unification was on king victor emanuell ||. 3. His cheife minister covour led a movement to unify italy He did a deplomatic alliance with france and was succeeded in defeating austrian forces. 4. In 1860, cavour and armed volunteers of guiseppe garibaldi was successful in defeating spanish ruler. 5. In 1861 victor emanuell || was made the king of united italy.
