Alluvial soil- It is found in the Eastern coastal plains.it is good for the cultivation of rice and wheat.it is divided into two alluvial-1. Khadar( new alluvial).2. Bangar ( old alluvial). It contains potash, lime, phosphoric acid. Arid soil- It is found in western Rajasthan.it is red to brown in colour.salt can be obtained from this soil by evaporating water from it.after proper irrigation ,it becomes cultivable.
