Anisotropic are the substance in which physical property change in solid formation at 3d position and isotropic are the substance in which physical property don't change in solid formation at 3d position

When we measure any physical quantity of a solid in different direction we will get a different value form each direction,it is called anisotropic.,and When we measure any physical quantity of a solid in different direction we get same value form all direction,it is called isotropic
