No, tertiary sector is playing a significant role in the development of Indian economy.As the income level rise the demands of people are increasing day by day like hospitality , education, communication etc,. As the level of primary and secondary sector rises then level of tertiary sector ultimately increases.facilities based on information technology are important which the tertiary sector provides.
