Both are used to get high yields. Multiple cropping means growing different varities of crops in the same piece of land in a particular year.eg:-farmers can grow johar and bajra in raniy season , potato between october and december and wheat in the winter season. Mutiple cropping refers to the use of high yielding varities of seeds compared to traditional seeds which requires plenty of water ,chemical fertilizers and pesticides to produce best results
