    Because anybody in nature cannot have two direction at one position thats why electric field and do not cross each other

    We know that electic field is a vector quantity it has a specific direction at each and every point. If they cross each other then at the point of intersection of two electric field lines there will be two direction of electric field at a time which is not possible.
