Let a+√3b. (1) Then 2+√3/2-√3 Rationalise the 2+√3/2-√3*2+√3/3+√3 =(2+√3)²/(2)²-(√3)² = (2)²+(√3)²+2*2*√3/4-3 4+3+4√3/1 7+4√3. (2) Compare eq.1 with eq.2 We get a=7 and b=1
