After independence from jappan ,french try to recontrol vietnamese . They made one of the vietname revolutionary "Boa Dai 'as their puppet. But the vietnamese were develped enough to fight with them. In 1954 a peace treaty was signed which finally divide vietnam into two regions north vietnam and south vietnam. North vietnam was ruled by "Ho chi minh" and south by " Bao Dai".
