Let x =18.34343434…..(eqn 1) Multiplying 100 by both the side 100x=1834.34343434....(eqn 2) Subtracting eqn1-eqn 2 100x-x=1834.343434..-18.343434.. 99x=1816 X=1816÷99

X=18.343434...(1) 100x=1834.343434...(2) On subtracting (1) from (2), we get , 99x=1826 X=1826/99.
