I think your question is wrong.According to me the question would be that"Verify that (a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2". If it is question then answer would be:- (a+b)(a-b)=a(a-b)+b(a-b) =(a×a)-(a×b)+(b×a)-(b×b) =a^2-ab+ab-b^2 =a^2-b^2 Hence,it can be verified.
