1st century is not considered as the birth era of Jesus but the 0 is considered as his birth era

As we have studied number line in our previous classes that left side of 0 is negative and right side is positive. But there is no position for 0 in timeline so we consider 1 as 0 and its left side is known as bc and right side as ad .1century is considered as the birth era of Jesus Christ. Hence the period before the birth of jesus is called bc or bce and after his birth as ad or ce.
