5th electron is extra of P And delocalisation of electron increase conductivity & this increment is due to negative charged electrons therefore P is doped Si is semi conductor

Since phosphorus has high number of electrons therefore it creates a hole and also it has unpaired electrons. Hence, it acts as a p-type semi-conductor.
