Because herbivores eats grass with contain cellulose and cellulose takes much time to be digest while carnivorous eat meat which contains Protein and protein can be easily digested. Thus herbivores have larger intestine than carnivorous.

Because herbivores eat food that offs rich in starch. And starch is mainly digested on small intestine.
