Mechanism of Photosynthesis:

  1. Absorption of light energy by chlorophyll.
  2. Conversion of light energy into chemical energy.
  3. Splitting of water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen.
  4. Reduction of carbon dioxide into carbohydrate.
