Assume number of toys = x

Therefore, Cost of one toy sold = {tex}\frac{180}{x}{/tex}
Number of toys sold = x - 1
Selling price per toy = Rs.({tex}\frac{180}{x}{/tex} + 1)
Total SP = CP + profit
According to given situation we have,

     (x - 1)({tex}\frac{180}{x}{/tex} + 1) = 180 + 10
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex}(x - 1)({tex}\frac{180}{x}{/tex} + 1) = 190
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex}x2 - 179x - 180 = 190x
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex}x2 - 11x - 180 = 0

After factorising above quadratic equation we get
     (x - 20)(x + 9) = 0
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex}x =20, -9
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex}x = 20 [ negative value is Rejected i.e., x = -9]
