Let a be positive integer Let b be 5 and if b is 5 then remainder will be less than 5 Euclid division lemma a+= bq + r So 5m. 5× 1 + 0 = 5 5m + 1 = 5 × 1 + 1 = 6 5m + 2 = 5 × 2 + 2= 12 5m + 3 = 5 × 3 + 3 = 18 5m + 4= 5 × 4 + 4 = 24 #hence proved#
