1. Go east movement was an anti French movement which was started by 300 Vietnamese students who went for modern education in china and japan.
2. Their primary objective was to demolish French colonisation and to reestablish nguyen dynasty.
3. So, they searched for foreign arms to help
4. Hence, they went to Japan for help which modernised itself and had a resisted colonisation over west.
5. They formed a restoration society in Tokyo but which was clamped by Japanese ministry of interior.
