    Coming together federation 1the independent states come on their own to form a bigger unit 2 the main object is that by pooling sovereignty and sharing identity they can increase their security 3 the state government and Central. Government has equal power .... holding together federation ....1 a large country decides to divide its power bw central authority and Various constituent units of the country 2 the object is to form a strong central government that can maintain unity in diversity 3 the central government has more power than state government eg Belgium , India

    Holding together federation: 1. Large country decides to divide its power between states and the centrcentre. 2. Centre government tends to be more powerful. 3. Federating units have unequal powers. 4. India. Spain. Belgium .... coming together federation: 1.independent states coming together on their own to form a bigger unit . 2. All the states have equal power and are strong . 3.. by pooling sovereignty and retaining identity, they increase their security. 4. U.S.A.... Switzerland.. Australia....
