Coming together federation 1the independent states come on their own to form a bigger unit 2 the main object is that by pooling sovereignty and sharing identity they can increase their security 3 the state government and Central. Government has equal power .... holding together federation ....1 a large country decides to divide its power bw central authority and Various constituent units of the country 2 the object is to form a strong central government that can maintain unity in diversity 3 the central government has more power than state government eg Belgium , India
