When a conductor is connected to a cell with a connecting wire having negligible resistance then electric current passes through the circuit due to produced electric field in a wire therefore electric field in connecting wire also non zero but potential in connecting wire remains same at two different points, but we know if electric field is non zero then potential difference should not zero then how in connecting wire potential difference is zero even electric field is non zero?
