As impulse=(force×small interval of time) so if we increase the time interval of contact with ball then force acts on hands decreases for impulse to be constant.?

To reduce the effect of force, as Force is inversely proportional to the square of Distance.

As f =dp/dt So if dt is increased so force will DEC. So impact of ball on. Cricketers hnd will b less.
