The difference between the maximum and minimum values of a given set of data is called as the range. The measure of the distribution based on range is the coefficient of range also known as range coefficient of dispersion which can be calculated using this calculator. If Xm denotes the maximum observation and X0 denotes the minimum observation, then the range is defined as Range=Xm−X0
