In ∆ABD and ∆ACD, AB=AC (given), AD=AD (common), angle ADB = angle ADC (since AD is an altitude), Therefore by SAS congruence rule ∆ADB congruence to ∆ACD. AB=AC (by CPCT), angle BAD = angle CAD (by CPCT)
