let ABC is a triangle and AD is any median on BC. now we have two triangles ABD and ACD. In ∆ABD, AB > AD......eq^n(1), In ∆ACD, AC > AD.......eq^n(2), adding (1) & (2), we get AB + AC > AD + AD, AB + AC > 2AD
