What is struggle against the apartheid

After 28 years of imprisonment, Nelson Mandela walked out of the jail as free man. Finall, at the midnight of 26 the April 1994, the new national flag of the republic of south Africa was unfurled marking the newly born democracy.......

Struggle: in south Africa the Aparthied system is there. The African national congress was the umbrella organization that led the struggle against the polices of segregation. Segretion means: under this the blacks of south Africa were discriminated from Whites. So many sensitive whites also joined ANC to oppose Aparthied and they played the leading role in struggle. Several countries including India deanounced Aparthied as unjust and racist . but the white racist government continued to rule by detaining , torturing and killing thousands of black and colored people. As the protest and stugfle against Aparthied has oncresed , the government realised that they could no longer keep black under their rule.. The whites ewgi!e changed its policies discriminatory laws were repealed. Ban on political parties and restrictions on the media were lifted.......

Aparthied: it was a policy of racial discrimination under which all people were classified and separated on the basis of race. Many restrictions were imposed on blacks , who formed more than 80℅ of the population.
