See first of all electrostatic field lines are conservative in nature so being conservative in nature the ensure that the network done must be zero and if electrostatic field lines were to form loops then they would surely give a work done which is non zero so electrostatic field lines and formation of loops are two contradictory things.

Bcz. they have starting and terminating pt.

Harshit Tiwari H 7 years, 6 months ago

Bcoz if the lines from close Loop then there is two direction of electric field which is vnot possible

Ritu Gupta 7 years, 6 months ago

Due to conservative nature of elctric field

As these lines start from positive charge and ens in negative charge . thier starting and ending pt. Are diff. So they don't form loop.
