West flowing

Those rivers which flow eastward in the peninsular plateau which are known to be wide

Those rivers which flow westwards in the peninsular plateau are known to be small excluding River Narmada and Tapi

Huge deltas at the birth place

They do not have deltas

They don’t flow through trough

Narmada and Tapi flow through troughs which are formed due to faulting

The final destination of these rivers are at the Bay of Bengal

The final destination of these rivers are at the Arabian Sea

Some of the examples of east flowing rivers are: Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna and Kaveri

As mentioned earlier Narmada and Tapi are the west flowing rivers
