As
sin(x+y)=sinxcosy + cosyxsiny
sin(x-y)=sinxcosy-cosxsiny
Now sin(x+y)/sin(x-y)=sinxcosy+cosxsiny/sinxcosy-cosxsiny
Dividing numerator and denominatory cos x cos y and solving we get
tanx + tany/tanx - tany
