Let n be 1 Sn = 6(1)- 12 = 6-12=-6 ( 1st term ) Let n be 2 Sn = 6(2) - 12 = 12-12= 0 2nd term = sum of second tetm - sum of 1st term = 12- - 6 = 12+6 = 18( 2nd term) So common difference = 18 -(-6) = 18 + 6 = 24
