If one sits at the sun and half body at shade then the body which is in sun will have a sunstroke because of sunlight and dryness and the other half body which is in shade will have a frostbite because of freezing winds.

Because,it is situated in high altitudes,so the climate is cold and dry.The air is thin so one experiences hot sunlight.So both can occur at the same time.
