There is x+1 so, in remainder theorem x=-1 So, P(x)=x^3+3x^2+3x+1 P(-1)=(-1)^3+3(-1)^2+3(-1)+1 P(-1)=-1+3-3+1 P(-1)=1-1+3-3 P(-1)=0+3-3 P(-1)=0+0 P(-1)=0
