Marketing is customer oriented , whereas selling is profit maximisation selling is just a part of marketing , Selling is only limited to distribution of product to the buyers whereas marketing involves pricing, marketing planning , packaging , grading, promotion etc. marketing is vast concept which focuses on providing satisfaction to its customers even after goods and services are sold or exchanged

Under marketing customer's satisfaction is emphasised while under selling seller's satisfaction is emphasised.

The top officials of a country’s Government held a meeting in order to speed up the business growth. In the meeting it was decided that there was a need for granting several exemptions to the Business Units already established.
