    Political executives comprise of PM, CM, President etc. They are elected through voting and their term is fixed (5 years).Their work is to make or amend the laws. Permanent executives comprise of Bureaucrats, IAS, IPS officers etc. The are selected on the basis of written examination and their term is till retirement. Their work is to implement the laws.
