cos {tex}\alpha=\frac{1}{2}{/tex} = cos 60°
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} {tex}\alpha{/tex} = 60°
Also tan {tex}\beta=\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}{/tex} = tan 30°
{tex}\Rightarrow \beta{/tex} = 30°
Now sin {tex}(\alpha+\beta){/tex} = sin (60° + 30°)
= sin 90° = 1
