Let the hundredth digit of 2 aps be (a1+99d) and (a2+99d) ATQ, a1+99d - (a2 +99d)= 100 a1 + 99d - a2 - 99d = 100 a1-a2=100.......(i) Difference between the thousandth term a1+999d - (a2+ 999d) a1 + 999d - a2 - 999d a1-a2 From (i) we get a1-a2 =100 Hence the difference between the thousandth term is 100
