Any liquid boils when its vapour pressure on its surface is same as of the atmospheric pressure on the liquid surface .But when we add impurities(in this case glucose) it shares the surface with solvent(in his case water). So the pressure on the surface of the solution is also shared therefore, it takes more heat to reach that vapour pressure.
