Kharif crops

It is the summer crop
It is sown in the first rain of july
It is harvested in the monsoon season
main crops are rice, millets, maize, red chillies
It is called monsoon crop in India

Rabi crop:

It is called as spring harvest
In India it is winter crop
It is sown in October
It is harvested in spring
Main crops are wheat, barely, mustard

Zaid crops:

This crop is sown in March to June
Not all the countries have these crops
Main crops are water melons, bitter gourd and pumpkin
