    Sugar industry suited to the cooperative sector because:

    1. Sugar production is seasonal in natur.
    2. Saves the producers from the exploitation of money lenders.
    3. To save the farmers from teh grunge of violent fluctuations in the Gur, Jaggery and Sugar markets.
    4. Facilitates socio-economic, educational and cultural development of the entire area surrounding the sugar factories.
