Plants cells shows two types of movements :- Tropic movements are growth movements in response to an environment stimulus. This type of movement may occur in response to gravity (gravitropism), light (phototropism), water (hydrotropism), chemical (chemotropism) etc. Nastic movement are independent of the direction of stimulus. This type of movement may occur in response to chemicals, temperature, touch etc. This shows that plant cell can shows movements in response to different stimuli although they do not have muscle cells
