Given:ho=1cm ,hi= -1/2 cm and v= -30 cm Since,m= hi/ho=-v/u === -5/10=+30/u U=-60cm Now by using mirror formula, 1/v+1/u=1/f ====1/-30=1/-60==1/f Therefore f=-20 cm
