Describe synaptic knob
  • 1 answers

Prince Jaat 7 years, 11 months ago

A synapse is a junction between two neurons. Neurons are basically Nervous System Cells. They pass impulses from one place to another. E.G. They pass impulses from your arm to your brain allowing you to feel if you are being touched. Synapses are useful for many reasons but I’m not going to go into that. The neurotransmitters indirectly pass on the impulse from one neuron to another. The large bulge on the presynaptic neuron is the synaptic knob.
