When the source and the observers are approaching towards each other the the formula of apparent frequency is (v+vo /v-vs )×frequency of sound ..
But in the answer , this formula is taken as (v - vo /v-vs)×frequency of sound .. Why?
This is the formula when the source moves towards the observer but the observer moves away ?
I am really confused?
