Ratio of area of similar triangle is equal to Ratio of square of their corresponding sides. Hence ratio of areas is 1/4, That is if area of original triangle is 1 sq. Unit then area of doubled side triangle will be 4 sq. Unit, Hence increase in area is 3 sq. unit, Hence percent increase is (change/ original )*100= (3/1)*100= 300%, Hence answer is 300%
