Firstly sap from leaves is actively transported to phloem 2nd a hypertonic solution is created between xylem&phloem so water is transported to phloem through osmosis. Pressure is created in phloem so water moves from higher concentration to lower concentration Then sap is actively transported to sink &water is transported back to xylem through osmosis So this is mass flow hypothesis
