Amorphous solids are such which don't have shiny appearance.

Amorphous solid are those solid which does not have any definite structure.These are anisotropic and their configuration is of long range order.They do not have any sharp melting point .These solid when cut through a sharp edge tool...we get two amorphous solid of rough surface.EXAMPLE:' glass quartz'.
