In SF​​6 there are no vacant d-orbitals as the S is bonded with 6F atoms hence completing the octet of sulphur. Also S is surrounded by six F- ions octaherally​ hindering the incoming water molecule to attack S atom. By which SF6 remains chemically inert towards hydrolysis reactions. Hope it helps!!!
