Yes.....first ch3oh +naoh gives ch30na and then perform Williamson's synthesis with ch3cl to form ch3-0-ch3 .again react with HI(aq). And at last methyl iodide obtained gets treated with alc.KCN then hydrolysis of ch3cn yields ethanoic acid
