Let us find HCF of 396 and 231 using Euclid’s division algorithm
396=231×1+165231=165×1+66165=66×2+3366=33×2+0SoHCF(396,231)=33
So 33 is common factor of 396 and 231
and co-prime numbers have common factor of 1 only.
∴ The 396 and 231 are not co-prime.
