Extrinsic :- 1. This Semiconductor is prepared by doping a small quantity of impurity atoms to the pure semiconductors. 2. The Number of Electrons and holes is never equal. There is an excess of Electrons in n-type of semiconductors and excess of holes in p-type of semiconductors. Intrinsic :- 1. This semiconductors is a pure semiconduct material with number impurity atoms in it. 2. The number of free Electrons in the condition band and the number of holes in valence bond is exactly equal.
