Tenses :- the form a verb takes to show the time it happened.
Tenses are of three types:-
1. Present Tense : something happening at the time of speaking
2. Past Tense : something that has already happened and being spoken about later on
3. Future Tense : something that will happen or is going to happen sometime in future.
Tenses are formed by adding "helping words" such as be or have before the verb.
For example,"I give", "I have given", "I am giving", "I have been giving", are all in present tense but have different meanings.
