Ans. Noble gases are inert or inactive in nature due to their stable octet configurations. Since, the noble gases do not form bonds with other molecules, so their internal bonding between the atoms and molecules are just considerd as vander wall's bonding which is weaker than covalent bonding and larger in size and found in identical atoms or molecules.
Noble gases have comparatively large atomic sizes as they have vanderwaals radii which is larger than both the ionic and covalent radii.
